We continue to upgrade the park for all to enjoy.
Park remodel 2011-2012
We had a lot of volunteers out every day working on the Park tearing down old structures, remodeling some and building new. New bathrooms, new pavilion, sidewalk, playground structure, light, electrical, swing sets painted, new basketball goal, couple buildings completely remodeled, and water fountain added were some of the things done that year. A Veterans memorial was also added to our park. The playground slides and platforms were donated by West City. Thank you to all that spent hours upon hours in the heat to improve our Park.

New Swing Seats
We had new swing seats installed at the park October 2021. Funds to purchase the new swings came from donations from residents. They were also installed by Park Trustee Charles. Thank you for all that donated.
Cameras installed throughout the Park
Wireless cameras were donated to the Buckner Park and installed in various places.
Painting Swing Sets 2022
Park Commissioner Charles Mulpas started painting the swing sets in late June 2022.
New BBQ Grills July 2022
Two new BBQ grill were installed at the park by Charles Mulpas, Darren Hanson and Dennis Eubanks.
Future Playground Equipment
We plan to save funds to purchase a new larger playground structure for our youth. Something similar to the structure below. The structures cost $10,000 up to $30,000. We would also need a soft surface below the playground equipment.
